Meet Dr. Nicole Linardi, LMHC, DMFT
Compassionate Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Families in Plantation, Florida
Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Sometimes, even when we're doing our best to hold everything together, we can feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next. Maybe you're carrying more than you let others see, struggling to feel understood in your relationship, preparing for a big life change, or trying to find your footing in motherhood. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to have all the answers before reaching out. You deserve a space where you can be honest about what you're feeling and feel supported as you figure things out.
I'm Dr. Nicole Linardi, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT), with 11 years of clinical experience. Through Linardi Therapy Services, I work with individuals and couples navigating life's challenges, relationship struggles, and the transitions that can leave us feeling uncertain about ourselves and the people we love.
As a therapist and a mother, I understand that life can hold many feelings at once. We can love our families deeply and still feel exhausted. We can care about our relationships and still struggle to communicate. And we can appear to have everything together while quietly wondering if things could feel different.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I want you to feel comfortable showing up as you are, without the pressure to have the right words or figure everything out on your own. Together, we'll make space for your experiences, explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward a greater sense of understanding, connection, and well-being.

The Person Behind the Profession
I believe that meaningful therapy begins with connection. Before we can work through challenges or create change, it's important to feel safe enough to be honest about what you're experiencing.
As a therapist and a mother, I recognize that life transitions can bring both joy and unexpected challenges. We can love our families deeply and still feel overwhelmed, lose touch with ourselves, or struggle to communicate our needs. We can be successful in many areas of life and still feel uncertain about what's happening internally or within our relationships.
These experiences deserve compassion, not judgment.
I approach my work with curiosity, respect, and an understanding that every person and family has a unique story. My goal is to help you feel understood while creating space for greater self-awareness, healthier patterns, and stronger connections with the people who matter most.
Therapy That Sees the Whole You
I believe meaningful change happens when we look beyond the immediate problem and begin to understand the experiences, beliefs, emotions, and relationship patterns beneath it.
In our work together, we'll explore what's bringing you to therapy, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop strategies that support your individual goals. Whether we're working through anxiety, relationship conflict, the impact of infidelity, or the transition into parenthood, our work will be guided by your needs, values, and experiences.
My approach integrates relational perspectives and evidence-informed strategies, including Gottman Method-informed interventions when appropriate for couples work. I also recognize how culture, family expectations, identity, and personal history influence the way we experience ourselves and our relationships.
Therapy isn't about having all the answers or becoming someone you're not. It's about understanding yourself more fully and creating healthier ways to navigate life's challenges.
